Supply Chain & Production Planning Manager

Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain & Production Planning Manager for Allume Solar Company Private Limited. The role will be responsible for optimizing sourcing, supply chain operations, and production planning while ensuring material availability and operational efficiency.

Location: Karachi

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage supply chain strategies for sourcing PV, battery, BESS, and other production components from domestic and international suppliers.

- Manage import and export logistics, customs clearance, and vendor coordination while ensuring compliance with import regulations, INCOTERMS, and company procurement policies.

- Build and maintain relationships with local and overseas suppliers while negotiating contracts and pricing to optimize cost, quality, and lead times.

- Develop production schedules based on sales forecasts, order requirements, and capacity constraints while coordinating Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure uninterrupted production.

- Monitor and optimize inventory levels across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods in line with production requirements and working capital targets.

- Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to align capacity with demand, monitor production KPIs, including OTIF, capacity utilization, and plan adherence, and drive corrective actions.

- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process in coordination with Sales, Finance, and Production to support effective demand and supply planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration

- 6-10 years of relevant experience across supply chain, procurement, and production planning, preferably within a manufacturing environment

- Strong knowledge of international sourcing, logistics, and production scheduling

- Hands-on experience with MRP and ERP systems

- Strong negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills
