About the Role

TeReSol Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Embedded Linux Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of embedded systems for next-generation hardware solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Linux kernel, driver development, and embedded software integration, with the ability to collaborate effectively across hardware and software teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, and maintain Linux-based embedded systems and firmware.

Customize, build, and optimize Linux kernels and device drivers.

Work on BSP (Board Support Package) development and hardware bring-up.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth hardware–software integration.

Debug and troubleshoot system-level issues using tools like GDB, JTAG, and oscilloscopes.

Optimize system performance, memory usage, and power consumption.

Implement security and reliability improvements for embedded Linux platforms.

Prepare technical documentation, reports, and process guidelines.

 

Core Competencies

Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.

In-depth experience with Linux kernel, device drivers, and Yocto/Buildroot.

Solid understanding of hardware–software interaction, bootloaders, and low-level interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).

Experience in debugging and hardware validation tools.

Familiarity with RTOS, embedded Linux distributions, and version control (Git).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in embedded Linux software development.
