Senior Assistant Manager - Quality Control

Position: Senior Assistant Manager - Quality Control (Bedding Division)

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

- Supervise daily cut-to-pack QC operations including stitching, folding, packing, label verification, and final inspection.

- Monitor inline stitching quality, ensuring seam integrity, SPI accuracy, edge finishing, and measurement compliance.

- Support Deputy Manager – Inline Sampling & Cut-to-Pack in Kaizen initiatives and defect reduction programs.

- Assess team performance, providing guidance and coaching to inspectors, executives, and junior staff.

- Validate packing compliance including carton strength, barcode placement, polybag quality, and label alignment.

- Prepare daily and weekly QC reports, including B/Q trends, defect counts, and audit summaries.

- Coordinate with production, merchandising, and trims teams to resolve quality issues and ensure timely order completion.

- Implement CAPA and improvement projects, tracking progress and reporting unresolved issues.

- Support audit readiness by maintaining QC documentation, inspection records, and buyer compliance.

- Identify process improvement opportunities in folding efficiency, packing accuracy, and stitching defect reduction.

- Act as a liaison between Assistant Managers and Deputy Manager, facilitating communication and task execution.

- Drive floor-level improvements, monitor defect trends, ensure SOP adherence, and achieve quality and production targets.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀:

- Strong knowledge of bedding product QC, stitching, folding, packing, and inspection standards.

- Familiarity with CAPA, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.

- Ability to analyze defect trends and implement corrective measures.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QC reporting tools.

- Experience with ERP or production monitoring systems is preferred.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.

- 6–10 years of experience in Quality Control within the Bedding or Home Textile industry.

- Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or senior leadership role preferred.
