Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Accountant who can go beyond bookkeeping and take ownership of financial reporting and accounting operations.

This role requires someone who can:

Prepare clean, structured financial statements in Excel

Manage end-to-end accounting across multiple clients

Work confidently across QuickBooks, Zoho, and similar platforms

We are not looking for data entry operators. We need someone who can think, reconcile, and deliver review-ready outputs independently.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

Prepare full sets of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in Excel

Perform month-end and year-end close processes

Maintain and review trial balances and general ledgers

Ensure financials are accurate, consistent, and audit-ready

Bookkeeping & Reconciliations

Handle full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients

Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations

Identify and resolve discrepancies proactively

Systems & Tools

Work extensively with:

QuickBooks (Online & Desktop)

Zoho Books

Other cloud accounting platforms as required

Use Excel at an advanced level for:

Financial statement preparation

Data analysis and reconciliations

Error detection and cleanup

Execution & Communication

Deliver error-free, review-ready work

Follow SOPs and internal processes strictly

Communicate clearly with internal teams

Manage deadlines independently without supervision

Required Qualifications & Experience

5–7+ years of hands-on accounting experience (non-negotiable)

Proven ability to prepare complete financial statements in Excel

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred (But Valuable)

Audit experience (Big 4 / mid-tier / strong local firm)

Experience with audit working papers and review processes

Exposure to internal controls and financial reviews
