Junior WordPress Developer — Remote (Pakistan), Freelance/Contract
We’re hiring a junior WordPress developer to build websites exactly as designed in Figma/UI files. This is a remote freelance role for candidates based in Pakistan only. You’ll work on delivering pixel-perfect, responsive pages using modern page builders and our existing design systems.
What you’ll do:
* Convert Figma/UI designs into high-quality WordPress pages with pixel-perfect accuracy
* Build pages and flows using Elementor, GreenShift and Gutenberg with clean structure, variants, and responsive rules
* Implement SEO-friendly markup, performance best practices, and accessible components
* Troubleshoot issues using logs and errors to find root causes and fix them quickly
* Collaborate on handoffs, QA, and Dev Mode specs as needed
Must-have skills
* Custom WordPress development experience
* Strong HTML, CSS, AJAX, and PHP skills
* Proven experience turning sample sites or Figma/Sketch/Illustrator designs into production pages
* Hands-on with Elementor, Gutenberg, SEO, and common themes (e.g., OceanWP)
* Familiarity with WP-CLI, REST API, and MariaDB/MySQL
* Solid debugging, problem-solving, and investigative skills
Nice to have
* Knowledge of caching/performance plugins and best practices
