Finance Manager

Position: Finance Manager

Location: Karachi
Qualification: Bachelors / Masters / ICMA / CA Finalist is a plus.
Experience: At least 5+ years of relevant experience.

Job Description:

Accounting & Financial Management:

* Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including payables, receivables, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
* Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Implement and maintain a chart of accounts suitable for both service and trading activities.
* Manage fixed assets register and depreciation schedules.

Taxation & Compliance:

* Ensure compliance with income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax regulations under FBR and provincial tax authorities.
* File all statutory returns (monthly sales tax, withholding tax, annual income tax, etc.) within due dates.
* Handle tax audits, assessments, and correspondence with regulatory bodies.
* Maintain compliance with Companies Act 2017 and SECP requirements (if applicable).

Budgeting, Costing & Analysis:

* Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
* Conduct cost analysis for service operations and trading activities to improve margins.
* Provide management reporting & KPIs to support strategic decision-making.
* Monitor working capital (inventory, receivables, payables) and ensure liquidity.

Internal Controls & Systems:

* Develop and enforce internal controls, SOPs, and financial policies.
* Ensure smooth operations of the ERP/Lead process improvements to increase efficiency in financial operations.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

* Manage cash flow, bank facilities, and credit lines.
* Liaise with banks for LCs, guarantees, trade finance, and foreign remittances.
* Ensure efficient fund utilization and timely supplier/customer payments.

SKILLS:

* Strong knowledge of IFRS, Pakistan tax laws, SECP regulations.
* Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities
