Executive - Consumer & Market Insights

Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a curious and analytical Executive - Consumer & Market Insights to support the development of actionable consumer and market insights that drive brand strategy and business growth from our Karachi office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the design and execution of quantitative and qualitative research studies.

- Coordinate study design, questionnaire development, and fieldwork tracking with external research agencies.

- Analyze data from multiple sources including sales data, household panels, brand health trackers, and market research studies to generate actionable insights.

- Translate research findings and raw data into clear insights and compelling presentations highlighting key business implications.

- Collaborate with Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Sales teams to understand business questions.

- Support innovation projects through multiple research initiatives while identifying white spaces and growth opportunities.

- Track category trends, competitor activity, and evolving consumer behaviour to inform strategic decisions.

- Maintain a repository of past research and insights to support knowledge sharing and consumer-first thinking across the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Psychology, Economics, or a related field

- 1–2 years of relevant experience in consumer and market insights, within a market research agency or the FMCG sector

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights

- Exposure to consumer behavior and ability to translate data into meaningful consumer stories

- Basic understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies

- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (exposure to SPSS, Nielsen, or Kantar is preferred)

- Strong communication and presentation skills with attention-to-detail
