DevOps Specialist

Switch Communications is Hiring DevOps Specialist

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

- Manage and maintain Linux-based systems across development, staging, and production environments.

- Handle on-premises virtualization using VMware ESXi and Proxmox, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.

- Plan and implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka, and MySQL.

- Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash for provisioning, configuration, backups, and log analysis.

- Deploy and maintain monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Nagios.

- Configure and manage Asterisk PBX systems, including dial plans, extensions, and call routing.

- Implement and troubleshoot SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) for VoIP communication and signaling.

- Manage SIP trunking, call flows, and integration with telecom operators.

- Monitor and optimize voice traffic performance, ensuring high call quality and minimal latency.

- Manage Node.js applications using PM2 for process monitoring and lifecycle management.

- Design and maintain dashboards for system performance and health monitoring.

- Manage Elasticsearch clusters for centralized logging, data search, and analytics.

Develop and maintain REST APIs for automation, monitoring, and system integration.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 2–3 years of experience in System Administration or DevOps-related roles.

- Hands-on experience with Asterisk, SIP, and VoIP technologies.

- Strong understanding of automation, scripting, and system management.

- Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization.

- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on system reliability, scalability, and performance.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work in fast-paced production environments and manage multiple deployments and incidents
