MCB Islamic Bank Ltd. is seeking a meticulous and experienced Company Secretary to oversee our corporate governance framework. Who will be the custodian of all statutory records and ensure the Bank’s compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Minimum Graduation degree from an HEC recognized university. Preference will be given to Master’s degree holder. 

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: Coordinate the end-to-end process for Board, Committee, and Shareholder meetings (AGM/EGM), including issuing notices, preparing agendas, and drafting minutes.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Maintain all statutory books/registers, manage regulatory filings, and ensure the Bank adheres to all corporate legal obligations.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻: Act as the primary point of contact for corporate correspondence with shareholders, the Registrar, and regulatory authorities.

𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆: Provide expert advice to the Board on corporate governance best practices and statutory requirements.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀

➡️ Preferably a certification from ‘Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan’ (ICSP)

➡️ Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the Banking/Financial Services sector.

➡️ Strong knowledge of corporate law, securities law, and listing regulations.

➡️ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
