THE ROLE: We are looking for a Business Analyst to serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, while also playing a strategic role in shaping the design and delivery of our Gen AI and Web 3.0 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, and converting them into clear, actionable tasks for development teams. In this role, you will take ownership of the strategy and design, of high-impact features aimed at enhancing developer experience, driving product adoption, and contributing to revenue growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy & Research

Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

Define and own the product vision, goals, and roadmap for Gen AI/Web 3.0 offerings, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Stay current with advancements in Generative AI, Blockchain, and Web 3.0 technologies to inform product direction and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

Collaborate with stakeholders across design, marketing, sales, and engineering to define and refine product needs.

Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements through interviews, workshops, and secondary research.

Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, wireframes, process diagrams, and acceptance criteria.

Product Execution

Define and maintain the product backlog; prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact and user value.

Support agile sprint cycles by working closely with development and QA teams to ensure feature delivery meets defined requirements. 

Serve as the voice of the customer and business during product development, ensuring usability and quality standards are upheld.

Performance Monitoring & Improvement

Use analytics and user feedback to track product adoption, measure outcomes, and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Proactively recommend and document enhancements to optimize functionality and user experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: We are looking for a candidate who has 2+ years of experience with the following skill set:

Market & Competitor Analysis: Proven ability to conduct and synthesize market research, competitor benchmarking, and customer analysis to inform product direction and positioning.

Business Documentation: Expertise in creating high-quality documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, Process Flows, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.

Analytical Thinking: Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to draw insights from both qualitative and quantitative data to support decision-making.

Product & Process Modeling: Proficient in using tools like Draw.io, or Microsoft Visio to model workflows, use cases, and system interactions.

Communication & Presentation: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management: Experience collaborating across departments and balancing diverse stakeholder needs to align priorities and deliver value.

User-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of user journeys, pain points, and usability principles to guide product design and enhancements.

Agile & Scrum Proficiency: Familiar with agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews), and tools like JIRA, Trello, or ClickUp.

Documentation & Traceability: Skilled at maintaining clear audit trails and changing logs to ensure version control, traceability, and compliance throughout the development lifecycle.

Problem-Solving & Initiative: Resourceful, proactive, and capable of working independently to identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive action.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or Computer Engineering from a reputable university with a strong academic background.
