Automation QA Engineer

FiveRivers Technologies seeking a talented Automation QA Engineer with 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software testing with a strong focus on automation. As an Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products and projects. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Collaborate with software developers, QA analysts, and product managers to understand software requirements and ensure test coverage.

Execute automated test cases, analyse results, and report defects using test management tools.

Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions with the QA team.

Maintain and update test automation frameworks to keep pace with evolving technology and project requirements.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.

Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.

Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing and automation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.

Proficiency in automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins or GitLab is a plus.

Knowledge of web technologies, databases, and APIs is desirable.
