Synapsify is looking for a technically exceptional and research-driven 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐑&𝐃 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 with expertise in 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠, and 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 to join our advanced innovation team. You will work on developing 𝐀𝐈-𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 using facial videos and related sensing modalities. This role is ideal for someone passionate about 𝐀𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧-𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠, and advancing the frontier of 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

• Research and develop deep learning models for physiological signal estimation from visual inputs.

• Apply computer vision and signal processing techniques to extract and analyze physiological information from facial video data.

• Explore and evaluate spatiotemporal architectures for modeling visual and temporal patterns related to heart rate and blood pressure.

• Contribute to the culture of scientific rigor and innovation within the R&D team, and drive best practices in applied AI research and development.

• Collaborate with dev, DevOps, product, and design teams to translate research into scalable, production-ready systems.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Solid background in computer vision, machine learning, and signal processing.

• Hands-on experience with video-based analysis, time-series modeling, or physiological signal estimation.

• Strong foundation in applied mathematics and statistical modeling.

• Excellent communication, writing and teamwork skills in a cross-functional R&D environment.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

• Research or applied experience in remote photoplethysmography (rPPG), contactless vital signs monitoring, or AI for healthcare.

• Contributions to academic publications or open-source projects in computer vision or biomedical AI.

• Familiarity with domain adaptation and model generalization across varying environments.

• Passion for advancing AI-enabled healthcare and human-AI sensing technologies.
