Job Title: Assistant Manager Warehouse & Logistics

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse including inbound, storage, and outbound activities.

· Ensure proper handling, stacking, and storage of products to avoid damage.

· Implement best practices for warehouse layout planning and utilization.

· Maintain accurate stock records using ERP/WMS systems.

· Analyze inventory data and ensure alignment with actual stock.

· Plan and manage local and national distribution of goods.

· Coordinate and negotiate with transporters, third-party logistics, and freight forwarders.

· Monitor vehicle movement and ensure timely deliveries.

· Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company standards.

· Supervise and lead warehouse staff, loaders, drivers, and logistics assistants.

· Allocate tasks, monitor daily performance, and ensure team accountability.

· Coordinate closely with departments like Procurement, Production, Sales, and Finance.

Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

· 5 to 6 years of proven experience in warehouse/logistics management (preferably in ceramics, tiles, furniture, or industrial manufacturing).

· Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

· Knowledge of warehousing standards, safety protocols, and transportation regulations.
