Exciting Opportunity: Assistant Manager – Plant Engineering

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Thal Engineering is looking for a skilled Assistant Manager – Plant Engineering to support and enhance our manufacturing operations through technical expertise, innovation and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and maintain plant machinery, automation systems and control equipment to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

- Lead troubleshooting, maintenance and improvement projects related to plant equipment and production lines.

- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment performance.

- Collaborate with production, quality and safety teams to deliver continuous improvement in plant efficiency.

- Drive automation initiatives by leveraging expertise in PLC systems and industrial controls.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering (or related discipline).

- 5–6 years of relevant experience in plant or industrial engineering roles.

- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, instrumentation and automation.

- Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and optimization.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
