Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Paper Buying

We are seeking a professional with strong experience in 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, and 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 to ensure consistent supply and cost-effective purchasing for our corrugation operations.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

- Lead procurement of paper and related raw materials including kraft paper, test liner, fluting medium, and pulp-based materials from reliable local and international suppliers.

- Manage purchase orders, documentation, and procurement records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement standards.

- Ensure timely sourcing and delivery of raw materials aligned with production planning and operational requirements.

- Drive vendor development initiatives, identify new suppliers, and maintain strong supplier relationships.

- Conduct price negotiations and contract discussions to secure the most competitive commercial terms.

- Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and delivery timelines to ensure operational efficiency.

- Support cost optimization and strategic sourcing initiatives within the procurement function.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

- Proven experience in raw material purchasing, particularly paper, pulp, and kraft paper procurement.

- Strong exposure to vendor development, supplier negotiations, and procurement planning.

- Experience within corrugation, packaging, paper, or related manufacturing industries will be highly preferred.
