App Store Optimization Specialist

Role Overview

Dev House is on the lookout for a performance-driven App Store Optimization (ASO) Specialist who can enhance the visibility, ranking, and conversion of our mobile apps on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. The ideal candidate is someone who loves working with data, understands user behavior, and is always up-to-date with the latest ASO and user acquisition strategies.

 Key Responsibilities

⁠Conduct thorough keyword research and market analysis for both Android and iOS platforms.

⁠Optimize app listings, including titles, descriptions, keywords, tags, and creative assets (icons, screenshots, and videos).

Implement and manage A/B testing for app visuals to improve install conversion rates.

⁠Use ASO tools such as Sensor Tower, AppTweak, MobileAction, or similar to monitor performance.

Stay current with algorithm updates, store policy changes, and industry trends.

Collaborate with development, design, and content teams to execute ASO strategies effectively.

Analyze user feedback, reviews, and competitor performance to generate insights.

Provide regular reports on keyword rankings, downloads, and overall performance metrics.

Campaigns & Performance Marketing

Plan, launch, and optimize user acquisition campaigns on Google Ads (App Campaigns), Apple Search Ads, and Meta Ads.

Develop and execute campaign strategies focused on installs, CPI, ROAS, and LTV.

Continuously test creatives, audiences, and bidding strategies to improve performance.

Align paid campaigns with ASO strategy to maximize organic + paid growth synergy.

Requirements

⁠Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in ASO for both the Play Store and the App Store.

Practical experience running and optimizing app campaigns on Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, and Meta Ads.

Strong grasp of ranking algorithms, keyword dynamics, user acquisition, and campaign strategy.

Proficient with ASO and analytics tools: App Store Connect, Google Play Console, Sensor Tower, AppTweak, etc.

Ability to analyze campaign data (CPI, CTR, CVR, ROAS) and turn insights into actions.

•⁠ Detail-oriented and highly organized with an ability to meet deadlines without supervision.
