Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the companyโs business objectives.
Advise the executive team on HR planning, organizational development, and workforce management.
Drive cultural transformation initiatives in line with the companyโs media-centric values and creative environment.
Talent Management
Lead talent acquisition for editorial, production, digital, and support departments.
Oversee onboarding, performance management, career development, and succession planning.
Establish employer branding strategies to attract top media talent.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Foster a positive work environment, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and morale.
Resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring fairness and legal compliance.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all departments.
Compensation & Benefits
Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs suitable for the media sector.
Conduct regular market benchmarking to retain key talent.
HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure all HR policies and procedures comply with local labor laws and industry regulations.
Oversee payroll, HRIS, employee records, and audit processes.
Lead health, safety, and wellness initiatives across all locations.
Training & Development
Identify skill gaps and implement training programs tailored to the needs of media professionals.
Support leadership development and mentoring programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masterโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable institute, i.e., LUMS, LSE, PU, etc.
Minimum 10 to 15 years of HR experience with at least 5 years experience on a Head of HR
In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and media industry dynamics.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proven experience in managing HR in a 24/7 operations environment is highly desirable.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
