ExpiredProgressive Group of companies having sister concerns Power Plus (Pvt.) Ltd and Pak Ghiza(Pvt.) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager – HR Operations. Candidate will be responsible for managing and executing core HR operations at the factory, with a strong focus on payroll management, employee relations, and HR systems. The role ensures timely and accurate payroll processing, smooth HR services delivery, and adherence to company policies and labor laws.
This positions is based in PGOC Head office located in Landhi Industrial Area, Karachi.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all head office and plant employees, ensuring accuracy, timelines, and compliance with statutory requirements.
· Maintain and update employee attendance, leave, overtime, and shift records through HR software (e.g. TimeTrax)
· Coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement, tax deductions, and benefit administration.
· Ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for all
employees.
· Verification and processing of Medical Claims
· Manage reconciliations, and statutory filings (EOBI, SESSI, tax
calculations and Provident Fund, etc.).
Launch Vehicle Claims and Insurance
· Handle recruitment and onboarding activities for factory -level
positions.
· Support training and development initiatives for plant employees in
coordination with Head Office HR.
· Maintain employee personal files and HR records, ensuring accuracy,
and confidentiality.
· Addressing queries and resolving issues related to payroll, leave and
benefits.
· Implement and monitor disciplinary procedures, workplace policies,
grievance handling
· Prepare periodic HR and payroll reports for management review. Assist in employee engagement and welfare activities at the plant to foster a positive work environment.
· Coordinate with Admin and other department to ensure smooth point operations from an HR perspective.
· Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance, and factory-related HR operations.
· Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in HR / MPA.
Minimum 4–6 years of proven experience in HR Operations, preferably in FMCG.
Strong knowledge of local payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory benefits.
Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software TIME TRAX is a must.
Salary 80K-90K depending upon experience.
