Job Title: QA Engineer (SaaS – B2B) Experience: 3+ years Location: Remote (Pakistan) Employment Type: Full-time PhenTech is looking for an experienced QA Engineer (3+ years) with strong manual testing expertise in web-based SaaS products (B2B preferred). Key Responsibilities • Write clear, structured test cases and detailed defect reports (steps, expected vs. actual, environment, logs/screenshots). • Perform API testing (Postman/Insomnia): auth flows, REST endpoints, payload validation, status codes, negative testing. • Use SQL for data verification (joins, filters, counts) and integrity checks. • Build and maintain regression test suites; ensure release quality. • Collaborate with developers (Git/PR basics, reading diffs, CI results). Preferred Experience • Multi-tenant SaaS testing (tenant isolation, RBAC, permissions). • Security-focused testing (authorization bypass, IDOR, data leakage, audit logs, export/share controls). • Basic automation experience (Playwright/Cypress/Selenium). • Testing real-time/async systems (websockets, queues, background jobs). • Data export validation (CSV/JSONL, redaction, date ranges, plan gating). Nice to Have • Testing integrations (Email, Slack, Webhooks). • Basic performance testing knowledge (large datasets, pagination, response times).
