Position: Semi-Senior Accountant

Location: Gulberg Greens, Islamabad

Timings: Monday to Friday (13:00 - 21:30)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Semi Senior Accountant to support our UK client portfolio. This role requires strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and experience with cloud accounting platforms. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in preparing accounts, managing bookkeeping, handling tax-related tasks, and supporting senior accountants with client communication and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

· Preparation of accounts for UK limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.

· Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts.

· Maintain general ledgers and perform account reconciliations.

· Work with cloud-based software like Xero, QuickBooks or similar.

· Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.

· Assist in preparing corporation tax computations and returns.

· Support senior accountants in audits and financial reviews.

· Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, HMRC regulations, and internal company procedures.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field certification like (CA or CMA mid-level).

· 2–3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably with exposure to UK clients.

· Understanding of UK accounting principles, tax regulations, and VAT rules will be a plus.

· Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.).

· Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills.

· Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

· Ability to work within team and manage multiple priorities.
