BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co., is seeking qualified candidates to join their dynamic IT Team at the Head Office, Karachi for the following positions:

1. Deputy Manager Data Engineer

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, and data pipeline management.

Responsibilities: Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse architecture and data pipelines to support analytics and AI workloads. Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines across bronze, silver, and gold layers, and build data ingestion pipelines for systems such as SAP, CRM, IoT, and web analytics platforms. Ensure data quality, validation, and schema consistency through automated checks and governance practices. Collaborate with BI and Data Science teams to deliver clean, curated datasets for reporting and machine learning.

2. Deputy Manager Full Stack Developer

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development and application integration.

Responsibilities: Responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and portals integrated with Microsoft Fabric for analytics and data access. Build responsive front-end dashboards and user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React or Angular, and develop secure, scalable back-end services using .NET Core and REST APIs. Ensure optimized, secure application design and integrate web applications with Microsoft Fabric datasets and analytics services. Enable embedded analytics capabilities for business users, support chatbot and AI-driven features using automation frameworks and LLM technologies and collaborate with digital transformation teams to enhance workflow automation through conversational interfaces.

3. Assistant Manager Data Scientist 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience: 3+years of experience in data science, machine learning model development, and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities: Responsible for developing machine learning models and analytics solutions to generate predictive insights across CRM, CXM, and IoT use cases. Build and maintain models for applications such as lead scoring, customer segmentation, and sentiment analysis using Python, PySpark, Scikit-learn, and related tools. Perform data exploration, feature engineering, and dataset preparation using Fabric Lakehouse and Notebooks. Collaborate with BI Developers to deliver AI-ready datasets for dashboards and with Data Engineers to ensure clean and reliable data pipelines.
