DevOps Specialist

Switch Communications is #Hiring 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗢𝗽𝘀 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

-Manage Linux-based systems across production, staging, and development environments.

-Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, IPsec).

-Execute cloud migration projects between AWS and Azure, including database transfer and synchronization.

-Cloud infrastructure cost optimization.

-Handle on-premises virtualization with VMware ESXi and Proxmox, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.

-Plan and implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) setups for Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka, and MySQL.

-Develop automation scripts in Python and Bash for provisioning, configuration, backups, and log analysis.

-Deploy and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Nagios.

-Configure CI/CD pipelines for multi-language applications (Java, Python, Node.js) using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

-Continuously optimize CI/CD processes to reduce deployment time and minimize downtime.

-Utilize PM2 for Node.js application lifecycle management and process monitoring.

-Design custom dashboards and visualizations for performance metrics and system health tracking.

-Manage Elasticsearch clusters for centralized logging, data search, and analysis.

-Create and maintain REST APIs for automation, monitoring, and system integration.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

-Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline).

-2–3 years of proven experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or System Administration.

-Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

-Able to optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring, automation, and right-sizing strategies

-Detail-oriented with a focus on system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization.

-High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to operational excellence.

-Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills for cross-functional teamwork.

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced production environments, handling multiple deployments and incidents.
