AWS Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced AWS Backend Developer with 𝟒 𝐭𝐨 𝟔 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 of experience to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate has deep experience with AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, and serverless computing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, deploy, and maintain backend microservices using AWS Serverless and managed services.

2. Design and optimize data storage solutions using DynamoDB and other AWS databases.

3. Build secure and scalable RESTful APIs (API Gateway / Lambda / Node.js / Python / Java).

4. Implement event-driven architectures using SNS, SQS, Kinesis, and EventBridge.

5. Store, manage, and optimize object data workflows using Amazon S3.

6. Ensure application performance, scalability, and high availability.

7. Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or similar tools.

8. Collaborate with DevOps, frontend, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

9. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and CloudTrail.

10. Follow security best practices and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Strong experience with AWS Cloud services.

2. Hands-on experience with:

Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS.

3. Serverless architectures.

4. Proficient in backend programming languages: Node.js / Python / Java

5. Experience with IAM roles, VPC, and networking basics.

6. CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code experience (CloudFormation / Terraform).

7. Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven design.

8. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Logs, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with Kinesis, Aurora, and RDS.

2. Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS knowledge.

3. Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.

4. AWS Certification (Developer Associate / Solutions Architect) is a plus.
