Assistant Manager – Imports

Jubilee Corporation is seeking a proactive 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 – 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 to manage end-to-end import operations, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and drive efficiency across the import and logistics processes. 

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Karachi

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁:

 • Manage the complete import lifecycle, including vendor communication, order placement, shipment tracking, and delivery scheduling.

 • Oversee customs clearance processes by coordinating with customs brokers and government authorities.

 • Monitor shipment status to ensure prompt clearance at ports and smooth movement of goods by liaising with freight forwarders, clearing agents, local transporters, and internal departments.

𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲:

 • Verify and manage all import-related documentation including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, LCs, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Form-E, NOCs, and Chamber Attestations.

 • Ensure full compliance with Pakistan Customs regulations and international trade laws.

 • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all import documentation.

 • Supervise ERP data entry for accuracy and transaction monitoring.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

 • Negotiate with vendors and freight forwarders to optimize import costs and timelines.

 • Collaborate with Finance and Accounts teams for supplier ledger management, tax invoices, foreign remittances, and customs duties.

 • Liaise with banks for Letters of Credit (LCs), trade finance instruments, and import payments.

 • Ensure timely submission of bank documentation for import contracts and payments.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁 & 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀

 • Maintain compliance with international trade laws, INCOTERMS, and HS Codes.

 • Ensure documentation readiness for internal and external audits.

 • Stay updated on evolving customs laws and trade policies, providing advisory support to management.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

 • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

 • 4–7 years of proven experience in import operations, logistics, or supply chain management — preferably within a trading, engineering, or industrial setup.

 • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and documentation software.

 • In-depth knowledge of INCOTERMS, HS Codes, and international shipping regulations.
