🔍 Role Overview
The IT Executive will provide end-to-end technical support across desktops, networking, servers, printers, VoIP, and cloud services. This role involves handling IT support requests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution while working closely with senior IT team members to maintain and enhance IT infrastructure.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems
Maintain and upgrade hardware components (RAM, HDD/SSD, power supplies, etc.)
Configure, monitor, and manage LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points
Manage Active Directory tasks (user creation, password resets, group policies)
Diagnose and resolve software and application issues (Microsoft Office, browsers, antivirus, business apps)
Configure and manage local email servers (POP, IMAP, SMTP), including mailbox setup and email troubleshooting
Perform routine backup and restore operations for systems and critical data
Ensure patch management, antivirus updates, and endpoint security compliance
Support VoIP systems and basic telecommunication troubleshooting
Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps clearly
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for escalated technical issues
🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Minimum 3 years of IT support experience in a corporate environment
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and basic familiarity with Windows Server
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, NAT, subnetting)
Hands-on experience with POP, IMAP, and SMTP and local mail server management
Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues at the component level
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
