Ltd Position: Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance (Payables) Location: Islamabad Department: Accounts & Finance Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable/Finance, preferably in the Construction Industry. Strong understanding of vendor payments, invoice processing, account reconciliations, and financial controls. Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems and proficiency in MS Excel. Good knowledge of financial documentation, payment processes, and applicable tax requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day Accounts Payable function, including invoice verification, processing, and timely payment. Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, GRNs, contracts, and supporting documents before processing payments. Maintain accurate vendor ledgers and conduct regular vendor reconciliations. Prepare payment requests and coordinate with relevant departments for timely approvals and disbursements. Monitor outstanding payables and ensure payments are processed within approved timelines. Ensure proper recording and documentation of all accounts payable transactions in the ERP/accounting system. Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, outstanding balances, and discrepancies. Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and applicable tax regulations. Identify discrepancies and coordinate with concerned departments for timely resolution. Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records for audit and management review.
