Position: Deputy Manager - Sampling (QC Bedding Department) 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: - Lead inline sampling activities including PP (Pre-Production), pilot run, TOP, fitting, and sealing samples for bedding products. - Verify measurements, workmanship, SPI, seam strength, finishing, and overall sample quality before approval. - Coordinate with stitching, finishing, trimming, and merchandising teams for accurate and timely sample submissions. - Conduct inline checks on initial production lots to ensure bulk production begins only after sample validation. - Maintain sampling trackers, highlighting approvals, rejections, rework, and pending items. - Identify sampling defects and implement corrective actions to minimize production issues. - Ensure proper finishing standards, folding consistency, and label positioning in samples. - Provide training and guidance to supervisors and QC staff to align sample quality with bulk production. 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: - Strong knowledge of bedding product construction, stitching techniques, and sampling procedures. - Familiarity with PP, pilot, and TOP sample approval processes. - Understanding of SPI, seam strength, measurements, and finishing standards. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for sampling trackers and reporting. - Experience with ERP or sample tracking systems is an advantage.
