JOB OPENING
Position: Assistant Manager – Supply Chain
Location: Multan (Full-Time | On-Site)
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage local and international procurement of films, inks, chemicals, spare parts, and packaging materials.
2. Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely supply.
3. Evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and issue purchase orders as per company policy.
4. Collaborate with the Production, Mechanical, and R&D departments to forecast material requirements and avoid stock shortages.
5. Handle all import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, BL, COO, and Form-E.
6. Liaise with banks for LCs, custom agents, and shipping lines to ensure timely clearance of consignments.
7. Maintain updated knowledge of customs laws, HS codes, FBR requirements, and duty structures.
8. Monitor shipment schedules, follow up with forwarders, and resolve clearance delays.
9. Coordinate with the warehouse and inventory teams to ensure proper GRNs, stock updating, and usage tracking.
10. Support the Production Planning and Execution team in aligning material availability with production schedules.
11. Maintain and review supply chain data to identify areas for cost reduction and lead time improvement.
12. Prepare periodic reports on imports, supplier performance, and procurement KPIs.
13. Ensure full compliance with company SOPs, audit standards, and documentation requirements.
14. Assist the Supply Chain Manager in developing sourcing strategies and improving process efficiency.
Requirements
1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 4–6 years in a supply chain role within a manufacturing or packaging industry (preferably printing/lamination).
3. Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs clearance, LCs, HS codes, and banking documentation.
4. Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and Microsoft Office.
5. Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and coordinate across multiple departments.
