🚀 We’re Hiring: Data Center & IT Support Engineer
📍 Location: Karachi
RapidCompute is looking for a motivated and technically capable individual to join our team as a Data Center & IT Support Engineer. The selected candidate will support both data center infrastructure and end-user IT operations.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Manage structured cabling, tagging, and rack management in the data center
• Install, upgrade, and maintain servers and hardware components (RAM, HDD/SSD, NICs)
• Maintain rack layouts, documentation, and infrastructure records
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for installations and maintenance
• Monitor systems and perform preventive maintenance
• Provide end-user IT support and troubleshooting
• Install and troubleshoot Windows OS and required software
• Support basic networking tasks including IP addressing and VLAN concepts
• Manage IT assets, backups, email configurations, and basic infrastructure support
• Handle IP cameras and access control device management
🎓 Requirements
• Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience (Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply)
• Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment
• Strong team coordination and communication skills
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
